Refund Policy — 30‑Day No‑Questions‑Asked

We stand behind every purchase on BotBay.in. If you’re not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase—no questions asked.
Marketplace Note: BotBay operates a marketplace. Unless a listing explicitly says otherwise, Sellers agree to honor this 30‑day policy. BotBay facilitates refunds and license/access revocation on behalf of Sellers.
1) What’s Covered

Digital products (bots, scripts, plug‑ins, configs, templates) purchased on botbay.in.

Subscriptions (monthly/annual): you can request a refund within 30 days of the initial charge or 30 days of a renewal. If refunded, access ends immediately.

Bundles & promotional packs: covered in full within 30 days, unless a listing is marked as an excluded item (see Section 5).
2) How to Request a Refund

Go to Account → Orders → Request Refund (or email support@botbay.in with your order ID).

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method (Stripe, PayPal, or Razorpay).

We revoke licenses/keys and disable access upon approval.

You’ll receive an email confirmation when processed.
Typical processor posting times vary by bank or wallet. You’ll see the credit after the processor/bank completes settlement.
3) Eligibility Rules (Simple, Fair)

Window: 30 calendar days from the purchase/renewal date shown on your invoice/receipt.

Proof: You must submit the refund from the purchasing account or provide the order ID and account email for verification.

Immediate effect: When a refund is approved, access to the product/service ends immediately, and you must delete all copies.
4) Subscriptions & Proration

If you request a refund within 30 days of a subscription charge, you’ll receive a full refund for that charge.

After a refund, the subscription is canceled. To continue later, repurchase at current pricing.

If a subscription includes usage‑metered add‑ons billed through BotBay, those are refunded in full within the 30‑day window.
5) Exclusions (Rare but Necessary)
We want this to be simple, but to protect Buyers, Sellers, and the platform, we may decline or reverse refunds for:

Fraud, payment disputes, or chargebacks already filed on the same order.

Abuse or excessive refunds that indicate misuse (e.g., repeated buy‑use‑refund cycles). We may limit to one refund per product per account.

Accounts banned for security, fraud, or platform policy violations.

Explicitly excluded listings (clearly labeled on the product page) where a Seller has obtained prior written approval from BotBay (e.g., custom services with significant manual work). Exclusions must be prominent on the listing and are enforced sparingly.
6) Marketplace Roles

Sellers: ultimate providers of their listings and agree to honor this 30‑day policy by default. Seller‑specific exceptions must be approved by BotBay and disclosed on the listing.

BotBay: facilitates requests, coordinates license/access revocation, and processes payment reversals via Stripe, PayPal, or Razorpay.
7) License & Access After Refund

Refund approval immediately terminates your license and access for the refunded item.

You must uninstall and delete any copies, keys, or files and cease use.
8) How We Process Your Refund

We submit refunds to your original payment method.

If your card or bank account is closed, your bank/payment provider will route funds per its policy.

For partial payments using credits/coupons, we refund the cash portion to the payment method and return store credits (if applicable) per their original terms.
9) Taxes, Fees & Currency

Taxes collected (e.g., GST) are refunded when law permits.

BotBay does not charge restocking fees for digital goods.

Refunds are issued in the original currency of the transaction; your bank’s FX rates may apply.
10) Chargebacks & Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback before contacting us, your access may be suspended while the payment provider investigates.
